1. Acceptance of these Terms

In short: using the site means you agree to these rules. Signing in — including with Google — counts as agreeing.

The website at kerwinspringer.com ("the site") is owned and operated by Student Hub Ltd, a company incorporated in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Kerwin Springer is the brand ambassador and a content creator for the site; the legal operator is Student Hub Ltd ("we", "us", "our").

By visiting the site, creating an account, signing in — including signing in with Google — practising a question bank, posting content, or otherwise using the site, you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

If you keep using the site after we update these Terms, that continued use counts as acceptance of the updated version (see Changes to these Terms).

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of your agreement with us.

2. Who may use the site

In short: 13 and over can open their own account. Younger children use the site through a parent's account, with the parent supervising. Under-18s should have a parent's permission.

• 13 years and older: you may create your own account.
• Under 13: children under thirteen may not open their own account. They may use the site's primary-school features — including the SEA Family Hub — only through an account opened and held by their parent or guardian, under that parent's or guardian's supervision. The parent or guardian is responsible for the account and for everything done with it.
• Under 18: if you are under eighteen, you should have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the site, and they should be aware of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Parents and guardians who register on behalf of their family accept these Terms both for themselves and in respect of the children using the site under their supervision.

3. Your account

In short: give accurate details, keep one account, protect your password, and don't squat on usernames.

• Accuracy. The information you give us when registering and completing your profile must be accurate, and you must keep it up to date.
• One account per person. Please don't create multiple accounts for yourself, or an account for anyone else without their permission (children under 13 use a parent's account, as described above).
• Security. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for activity on your account. Use a strong password, sign out on shared devices, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
• Usernames. We may reclaim, rename, or release usernames that impersonate someone else, infringe rights, are offensive, or are being squatted on, and we may suspend or ban accounts used for abuse.

4. Your contributions

In short: rate only your own school, honestly. We show ratings as aggregates and may remove abusive content. You keep ownership of what you post; you give us just enough licence to run the site.

School ratings

School ratings must be your honest opinion of your own school — the school you attend or attended and have claimed on your profile. Ratings are displayed only in aggregate (for example, an average score), never attributed to you individually. One rating per user per school, editable at any time. We may remove or discount ratings that appear false, coordinated, retaliatory, or abusive.

School suggestions

Suggestions for schools to add are reviewed privately by our team and are not published as submitted.

Forums, messages, and other content

You are responsible for what you post. Do not post content that is false, defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, infringing, or otherwise unlawful. We may moderate, edit, remove, or restrict any user content at our discretion, and may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

Licence to us

You keep ownership of the content you contribute. You grant Student Hub Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, and display your contributions for the purpose of operating and promoting the site. For any given contribution, this licence ends when that contribution is deleted from the site, except that (a) aggregate figures that no longer identify you (such as a school's average rating) may persist, and (b) we may retain copies where reasonably needed for moderation records or to comply with law.

Direct messages

Direct messages are for respectful, study-related communication. They are logged and may be reviewed by moderators if reported — see Acceptable use for the conduct rules.

5. School & registration information

In short: school listings and exam registration details are provided to help you — always confirm the official details with the school or ministry.

School profiles, contact details, exam registration dates, and similar information on the site are provided for general information only. We compile them from official notices and publicly available sources, and we try to keep them current, but details change. Before acting on anything important — a registration deadline, a fee, an address — verify it directly with the school or the relevant ministry or examination body.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any school listed on the site, and a school's appearance on the site does not mean the school endorses us.

6. Academic integrity

In short: the notes and tools are for learning. Use them to study — not to scrape, resell, or copy in bulk.

Our notes, worked solutions, question banks, and study tools exist to help you learn. You may use them for your own personal, educational purposes.

You may not scrape, bulk-download, mass-copy, republish, or redistribute the site's content, question banks, or solutions — whether manually, with bots, or with automated tools — without our prior written consent. Teachers who want to use our material in class are welcome to contact us.

7. Our content & intellectual property

The site — its design, code, branding, written content, illustrations, audio and video, study tools, question banks, and worked solutions — is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights and is owned by or licensed to Student Hub Ltd, except where attributed to a third party.

Past paper PDFs hosted on the site are the property of the Caribbean Examinations Council and are made available for non-commercial educational reference in support of student preparation.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the site for your own personal, non-commercial study. All trade marks, service marks, and logos appearing on the site are the property of their respective owners.

8. Paid services — Student Hub membership & the Shop

In short: the core site is free. A paid Student Hub membership unlocks extra benefits here, and the Shop sells items under its own policies.

The core of kerwinspringer.com — practice tools, past papers, games, and community features — is free to use. Two paid things exist alongside it:

Student Hub membership. Paid memberships and online lessons are offered through mystudenthub.online, which has its own terms of service and privacy policy. Billing, subscriptions, refunds, and lesson delivery are governed by the Student Hub terms, not by this document. When you link your membership to your account here, it also unlocks member benefits on this site — for example access to class notes for your registered classes, member badges, and other membership-gated features. Those benefits follow your membership status: if a membership lapses or is refunded, the linked benefits here end with it.

The Shop. kerwinspringer.com also operates a Shop. Prices are shown at checkout (TT$ / US$), and orders, payment, delivery, and returns are governed by the Shop policies together with these terms. Shop purchases are separate from Student Hub memberships.

9. Acceptable use

In short: be decent. No harassment, no bots, no fake-rating campaigns, no hacking.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, or otherwise abuse any other user, teacher, or staff member — on forums, in direct messages, or anywhere else on the site.
• Solicit personal information (address, ID numbers, banking details, phone number) from any user under 18.
• Use bots, scripts, or other automation to create accounts, farm XP, scrape content, or interact with the site.
• Brigade, coordinate, or fake school ratings, leaderboard results, or other community signals.
• Probe, scan, or test the security of the site, attempt to access accounts or systems you are not authorised to access, or distribute malware.
• Interfere with the operation of the site or the experience of other users, including spam.

Direct messages carry additional protections: new accounts wait 24 hours before messaging, messages are rate-limited, cross-role conversations (for example an adult messaging a student) require the recipient's acceptance, and all messages are logged and reviewable by moderators when reported. Reports involving potential harm to a minor are escalated immediately.

Breaches may result in content removal, feature disablement, suspension, permanent ban, and — where conduct may be criminal — referral to law enforcement. We may cooperate with law enforcement and disclose information we hold where we believe in good faith that the law requires it or that disclosure is necessary to protect our users or the public.

10. Termination

In short: you can leave any time by deleting your account. We can suspend or close accounts that break the rules.

You may stop using the site at any time, and you may delete your account yourself from the Settings page — deletion is immediate and removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access, in whole or in part, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe these Terms have been or are likely to be breached, or where required for legal, security, or safety reasons.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and governing law — survive it.

11. Disclaimers

In short: we work hard on accuracy, but the site is provided as-is. It's study support, not professional advice — and your exam results are your own.

The site and all content, tools, and services available through it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We make reasonable efforts to keep past papers, solutions, question banks, and study tools accurate and useful, but we do not warrant that any content is error-free, complete, current with the latest syllabus, or suited to any particular exam strategy. Nothing on the site is professional, legal, financial, or educational-placement advice. Your preparation decisions — and your results — are your own.

12. Limitation of liability

In short: this is a free educational site; our legal responsibility to you is capped at a small amount, except where the law says it can't be.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Student Hub Ltd, its directors, employees, agents, contractors, instructors, and affiliated persons (including Kerwin Springer) are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, examination results, or other intangible losses arising out of your use of the site — whatever the legal theory, and even if we were advised such damages were possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims connected with the site is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for use of this site in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim (for this free site, that will usually be nil), or (b) one hundred Trinidad and Tobago dollars (TTD 100).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Indemnity

In short: if you break these rules and it costs us or gets us sued, you agree to cover those costs.

If you breach these Terms or misuse the site, you agree to compensate Student Hub Ltd for losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees and investigation costs) that we suffer as a result, and to indemnify and hold harmless Student Hub Ltd, its directors, employees, agents, contractors, instructors, and affiliated persons (including Kerwin Springer) against third-party claims arising out of your breach or misuse.

We also reserve the right to pursue any available legal remedy for a breach of these Terms, including injunctive relief and damages.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date and version number. Where changes are material, we will give notice through the site — for example a site banner or a message to your on-site inbox — before or when the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with an update, stop using the site and, if you wish, delete your account from Settings.

15. Governing law

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the site, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to applicable law, the courts of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.
