Educational & self-awareness tool · not a diagnosis · built on current psycho-educational science
A short, non-diagnostic snapshot. Here's the science under the hood — and its honest limits.
It samples the same five pillars as the WISC-V — the gold-standard children's IQ test — using cousin tasks: matrices & figure-weights (fluid reasoning), block design & rotation (visual-spatial), digit span (working memory), coding (processing speed), and analogies (verbal). It shares the framework, not the authority: it isn't the WISC-V and can't replace a proctored, normed assessment.
Connecting, ordering, spinning, sliding and typing aren't gimmicks — measuring an ability more than one way (convergent evidence) is what makes a short test trustworthy.
Everything is untimed except the clearly-flagged speed round — processing speed can only be measured against a clock. It's also one of the strongest early signals for dyslexia/ADHD, which is why it's here.
We ask how sure you are and compare it to whether you were right. Knowing your own mind — metacognition — is one of the best predictors of independent study success.
You get strengths bands, never an "IQ number". It's a provisional snapshot until enough Caribbean students take it to build proper age norms. The learning flags are awareness only — only a qualified professional can diagnose anything.
